Hastings New Skatepark!

December 10th, 2009

After years of campaigning by Hastings locals and lots of hard work by a few key riders/skaters, Hastings is finally getting a new concrete skatepark.

It’s going to built in two phases with the park below (phase 1) completed by June 2010. It’s in roughly the same location as the existing skatepark at Fallaise Road so the haggard wooden one is being knocked down once the new park is finished. The second phase will hopefully be built in 2012 and has already been designed as a full-on plaza attached to the bowls.

Amazing!
