We’ve had a bunch of products in this past week which have been added to our site. As well as a re-stock of a lot of popular Fly, Proper and Odyssey parts, we have also had the Kink 2011 BMX bikes in. It’s a bit early in the year to be thinking about 2011 but check them out nonetheless. We’ve also received the new Tom White tyres from AbikeCo in either black or white sidewall and a new flangeless version of our best-selling grip - the Abike Edwin grip.

We have a pair of weekend camping tickets to this year’s NASS festival (worth £140) which we’re giving away for free. NASS is being held at Shepton Mallett on July 9th-11th and, as usual, we will have a mobile shop there with plenty of bargains - and hangovers.

Friend of the Source and all-round nice guy Tom Pickard has been working on a short film as of late. Tom was largely responsible for our Gold Meds and Deal With DVD’s. His new Secrets of the Content film is a project which sees him produce and direct an adaptation of a short story by Graeme Greene. All shot on Kodak black and white film - Something I’m sure Tom is Psyched on!
The Film is due to be screening around London and the Southeast sometime in June/July so keep an eye on the Secrets of the Content website HERE and be sure to check out the trailer below!
A few of us headed up to London for a spot of riding and filming for our upcoming DVD yesterday. The weather is finally starting to sort itself out now and and we had ourselves a time. Thanks to National Rail for doing their best to mess it all up. Check out some snaps from the day below.
Oakley are putting on another trails trip this year and they have an online vote over on the Ride site to decide on the last entrant allowed in the bus.
Just incase you were stalling on why Fids would be the best man for the job, besides the fact that he’s 40 and still having it at the trails harder than anyone else here’s a couple of his sections to refresh your memory!
The New concrete Skatepark in Hastings is now under construction. Work on Phase 1 (the bowl) has started and should be finished in around 5 weeks with Phase 2 (The plaza) due to commence shortly after when more funding is finalized. You can check out the final designs below and we will keep you posted with some more work in progress snaps when we have some. Enjoy.
Mag and Wildcat were out this weekend around Hastings getting some more clips for the new DVD. A couple of shots of Wildcat from this local rail are below if you feel the need to check them out. Mag was getting some tech-foolery done at the top of the rail hence no photos, You will just have to wait for the DVD… Whenever that will be!
The filming sessions for our next DVD are well under way now the rain has subsided!

As well as Mag and a hung over Wildcat there was Lil’ Phil and Charlie Fergusson, a couple young guns who are new to the Source team. Everyone was getting things done until the rain shut us down as usual…
