We very rarely do the whole re-post thing here at Source BMX but there are few videos doing the rounds on the internet featuring our team riders so we thought it warranted a post… check them out below.
First up is a sweet edit of Jimmy Rushmore and our very on Jon Robinson courtesy of the only union which isn’t on strike at the moment.
Also getting some Internet views at the moment are source team riders Lil’ Phil and Josh Heritage who have a couple of top 5’s on the 4down site thanks to the piemeister.
This Years Boyley Jam will be held on Saturday the 21st of August!!! As always this is going to a blast and will be held on both the existing wooden ramps and the new concrete set up. See the poster below for more info.
We have just returned from a long weekend filming in Normandie today. Trips are always sweet and this was no exception, enough laughs were had by all. There is a little photo gallery with a few Rat snaps from the weekend over on the photography page - CHECK IT OUT HERE
A crew of us have been in Normandie for a couple of days now filming some clips for the upcoming SourceBMX Normal Vol.1 video. Between getting pulled over by the Police and searched for drugs because of Wildcats drug dealer car we have been riding some street and skateparks in Le Harve. On Day 1 some random guy spotted us riding the skatepark and took us to his trails for an evening session and a bonfire! Cheers Man!!!!!
So then it was fathers day yesterday so what better way to celebrate the made-up bullshit day than going to the trails with five times Dad Ricky Bollington! The Ratt has been killing this place for years now and they and himself are still going strong - check out the snap below. When the Ratt isn’t building the trails he is building your wheels here at SourceBMX.
In other related Dad news, Marc Goodwin set up a brand new Fit Benny L this weekend, Just in time for the Source trip to France this coming weekend - Looks Dialed.
We have a pair of weekend camping tickets to this year’s NASS festival (worth £140) which we’re giving away for free. NASS is being held at Shepton Mallett on July 9th-11th and, as usual, we will have a mobile shop there with plenty of bargains - and hangovers.
All you need to do to win is tag us in a Facebook photo of yourself or a friend wearing one of our Source t-shirts. Just tag us (Sourcebmx Shop) and we’ll pick the best photo at random - whether it’s a riding shot or just something funny. We’ll pick a winner next friday 18th June and the winner will receive 2 tickets the following week (please note the winner is the person who tags the photo).
For more info about NASS click here - there’s no doubt that it’ll be the biggest BMX contest in the UK this year. Below is a photo we were recently tagged in ; good luck!
Mag and Wildcat were out this weekend around Hastings getting some more clips for the new DVD. A couple of shots of Wildcat from this local rail are below if you feel the need to check them out. Mag was getting some tech-foolery done at the top of the rail hence no photos, You will just have to wait for the DVD… Whenever that will be!
We are now back from our filming trip to Madrid where it rained solidly until the last day, when we had to a few hours to ride before the catching our flight - I guess you win some and you loose some.
We managed to get a couple of sessions down in a Ghetto park the locals had made along with trying to ride a disused metro stop - for about 3 minutes before the guards came and busted us with their guns and flesh thirsty dogs.
All that was left to do was play drinking games and hang out with the resident Goth’s at the black hole, which Josh was secretly Psyched on! Check a few of the Rat snaps below and be sure to check out the coverage in Issue of Case BMX magazine.
I have has this photo of the Fids for a few weeks now so I thought I would put it up! The Fids had his bike stolen in London a while back and has put together a new Shiny Dirt bike, in school bus yellow of course. The Fids also treated him self to a new set of teeth to match the bike while in Goa. Check the Bollywood smile out below. NORMAL!
Creasemeister has a little video up on his site of Wildcat, Mag and Ian Morris skating our bowl one evening last week - or at least trying! Check it out here or below :
